Museum Day in Paris

Today we visited two local museums.  Museum Carnavalet and a Picasso Museum.  Both were housed in old mansions that are incredibly beautiful.
The Museum Carnavalet traces the history of Paris spanning 450 years starting in the middle ages.  It's amazing how much they fit in a couple of mansions. The grounds are also beautiful . Paris is starting to bloom and the property was dotted with flowers.
The Picasso Museum was also in a gorgeous mansion.  I learned a lot through the audio guide of Picasso's work. I am not a fan of Cubist painting but I do have a better understanding of it now. His traditional paintings were more to.my taste.
We went to lunch in the Jewish section of town and had a wonderful Falafel meal. Not traditional Irish fare but tasty. We did a little shopping at a local Market that houses multiple restaurants along with fruit and vegetable stands. We are stocked for dinner. We haven't been very good with cooking yet.
As I'm writing this I can hear the bells from Notre-Dame.
Pint at the local pub and a stop in our local bakery for a baguette to have with soup.
